Algeria is actively involved on the international front. It cooperates in regional and international fora such as the United Nations, the African Union, the Organization of Islamic Conference, of Arab League, and the Euro-Mediterranean Forum. It also contributed towards the end of the eighties to the creation of the Arab Maghreb Union.
Algeria is committed to peace and stability in the world.
