Algeria in Arab World pole position

According to a gas survey, Algeria came on pole position in terms of Arab countries’ natural gas exporting capacities according to a survey done by Kuwait Oil Company. The survey said that gas field is standing as the most important economy sector in the Arab World.

Algeria is to secure its pioneer position while exporting gas through pipelines and tankers. The survey mentions that Algeria is targeting to export not less than 85 thousand tons gas as by 2010 through pipelines linking Algeria to some countries like Spain and Italy as well as through Medgaz pipeline project that is still under construction.
On another side, World Labour Organization affirmed that gas field provides huge job opportunities as one opportunity in gas production and refinement creates 4 others opportunities in other related fields.
